Inquiry Panel

Judge David Ambler began presiding over judicial conferences in the Rohe Pōtae district in 2006. He was officially appointed Presiding Officer of the Rohe Pōtae district inquiry in 2007.

Professor Sir Hirini Moko Mead (Ngāti Awa) was appointed as a kaumatua member for the Rohe Pōtae Panel in 2009.

John Baird was appointed to the Rohe Pōtae Panel in 2009.

Dr Aroha Harris (Te Rarawa, Ngāpuhi) is the historian member for the Rohe Pōtae Panel. She was appointed in 2009.

Professor Pou Temara (Tūhoe) was appointed as a kaumatua member for the Rohe Pōtae Panel in February 2012.
