Judge Patrick Savage

Judge Patrick Savage took up his appointment to the Māori Land Court bench in 1995 and is the resident judge for the Waiariki district. Formerly, he was the Crown solicitor for the Bay of Plenty.

Judge Savage has presided over the Waitangi Tribunal hearings for the kiwifruit export and radio spectrum claims.  He is currently the presiding officer for the Urewera inquiry district.
